Have been unable to find the birth places or any earlier ancestors of these gentleman.  "Poplar" John was supposedly buried in Harlan Co. but "Fuzzy" Andrew is buried in Laurel Co.  Some people say the ancestors were Samuel Howard & Chloe Osborne but the person they say is the ancestor is buried in Mo.  according to his descendant.  Any help wiould be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I was born and lived in Thousandsticks, Ky but moved away as a small child. We only visited there once a year. Can anyone give me a brief history of how it got it's name, and anything else you may know? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I finally got the information. It was April 22, 1950. I found the story in the archives of the Thousandsticks News and other info.

Hey I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures or family history of names from the Napier or Nantz family.

I only know the names up to my great grandfather George Napier.

On the Nantz side I only know up to Edison Nantz... Any info would be greatly appreciated..

If you havent allready noticed, Ive begun moving the site to a new site design.  Right now only a few pages have been converted over to the new template. I expect over the next few weeks to completely change over the entire site.  But for now, I hope you enjoy the new look

I am looking for information regarding a shooting by Sheriff Henry Davidson involving Lige Sizemore. This would have been around 1935-1945. If anyone can send me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I believe it happened within Hyden/Thousandsticks, Ky.

This was a big stories back then so there must be some information available. It was not considered a family feud as many notorious feuds were but I know there was many articles written about it and eventually, when Sheriff Henry Davidson got out of prison he moved to Indiana with his family. Many of the Davidson's stayed behind but are very old now and memories have faded.

Henry Davidson was my grandfather and I would love any information you may have or a link I can follow to get the information. It's most likely in some archive somewhere.

Thanks for all your help,
Carolyn Davidson
